Downtown Disney
We got to spend some time with one of my siblings last night chatting and walking around letting the kids get their wiggles out. It was dark and the park was closing, so it felt like we were swimming up stream a little bit sometimes, but the kids had a blast with the letters spelling "California."
New Cars Outfit
Knut was very pleased with mommy yesterday as I put the finishing touches on his new outfit. I've been shortening pants that he has ripped up the knees and patching up some of Nolan's pants and decided that matching could be fun. I don't have a shot of Nolan in his matching yet but here's Knut. He has patches on each knee and on his back pockets and one on his shirt. He won't wear the over shirt, he says he was to wait until Saturday.
My Swaps
I belong to several yahoo groups for machine embroidery and one of them has regular swaps for various items and themes throughout the year. This time it was pillowcases and I had signed up for 2 different ones and then discovered that my machine was not embroidering things out right. Then I found that one of my friends had an embroidery machine and she was so awesome, she picked up me and the kids and took us over to her home for a day of the kids playing and us sewing. She even finished up the last one for me after we had to leave. How cool is that? So here they are right before they got packaged up to be mailed.

Beach Wedding
We had a wedding in the extended family recently and it was a good opportunity to visit and see some people that we hadn't seen for a long time. The ceremony was on the beach and the kids had a blast running around until it got too cold for them. We also got to take some time before the reception to visit with Grandma and Grandpa Parker for a little bit and Nolan got to help Grandpa set up a CD burner to his record player. Then the reception was the next night at a stake center, outside on the lawn. It was really cool and fun to see the family again. Oh, and for my family, Mr. Ward says "hey" and asked about all of you that he knew. I didn't get much opportunity for pictures because Nevan was not happy with the noise while he was trying to sleep and Keileigh wanted attention too.
Abigail on the beach, she was having fun falling down on purpose.

My Buddy
A Big Little Mess
Knut's Friend's Birthday
Almost Christmas dress
Since Keileigh's Christmas dress is going to be from a pattern I've never made, and out of a fabric I've never sewn with, I decided to make a trial version out of muslin. She says it's too big and that Mommy needs to fix it, but that's because I didn't install the zipper yet and decided to do a button placket instead. I also need to shorten it and I will probably dye this just to play around with it.
