Christmas

I have a ton of Christmas pictures since we were visited by Santa in the form of our bishop who said that "a family" had put together presents for our family. We took pictures of the kids opening all the presents and then burned a CD for the bishop to give back to "the family" that had shared with us. The kids had a blast, lots of tearing of paper and squeals of delight. We were also invited to dinner with another family, which was totally awesome and very delicious. A tip we learned this year, if you call any meat "turkey", Knut will eat it, but it has to be "turkey." I'm only going to post a few pics since I don't have making a slide show down yet, but if you want to see the ones of them opening your gifts, let me know.

New Carseats

Nevan was finally big enough to be put into a forward facing car seat and Keileigh was ready to be moved into a booster seat, but the chest buckle on Keileigh's seat was broken. So that means buying not just 1 but 2 new car seats at the same time. Not that difficult, right? Wrong, try doing it with three kids in the middle of a major (for Southern Ca) rainstorm on your birthday, and guess what? This is the highlight of your day. We were able to get a really good deal on Keileigh's seat, the store was clearancing that style because new ones were coming in in January and Nevan's was a convertible, rear or forward facing seat. Even though Keileigh wanted the pick one, and they were out of the pink ones, she says that Mommy can just make her a new cover for it. We were also able to find a great deal on a better replacement camera, I'm just still trying to figure out the picture transfers from memory/sd card instead of from disc.

We had to rearrange the carseats since everyone was facing forward and since Keileigh's new seat needed a different seatbelt too. So Knut got the back.

Another Birthday

Another one of Knut's classmates had a birthday, a Thomas pajama party. They had three different train tracks set up, plus some of the GeoTrax sets, plus some crafty stuff for the kids-reindeer cookies and foam magnets. The kids had a blast playing with their friends and Nevan learned how to climb up one step and then stand up all by himself without holding on to anything.

Opening Secret Santa Gifts

We opened our secret santa gift long distance this year as we had no money to travel on top of the move we were getting ready to make. The kids were starting to get into the unwrapping of presents and really enjoyed this one too as it had treats for them included. Thanks guys!

Freinds Come Calling

We were visited for an afternoon by two very special people, one of whom taught my son how to properly launch a Star Trek shuttle craft.

December 12- Ward Christmas Party

This year at the Ward Party they had reindeer candy canes and CD ornaments for the kids to make. The kids had a blast running around and playing with their friends. When Santa came, after the acting out of the Nativity scene, Knut ran right up, Keileigh looked at him in complete horror and Nevan thought he looked really weird.

Does this tell you how horrible the first replacement camera we got was? Either that, or they never DO stop moving around.

Figuring out this walking thing and trying out running too.

Catch-up Post

I know I've been so busy I haven't had a chance to post pictures since the beginning of December, and since I just found them again, I'll probably being playing catch-up over the next few days to get everyone up to speed.

Really Quick Update

I know it's been a while since I posted, life has been really hectic and I'm still trying to understand this new camera and the software I'm supposed to use to transfer pictures. This is just a quick note to say that I haven't forgotten to update, but don't look for an update or pictures for about 2 weeks. We are in the middle of packing up the house, kids and all, to move states. If you are interested in helping pack some boxes, that would be great, or if you know anything about the electrical wiring on a trailer, talk to Nolan, or if you would like to play with my kids while I pack, that would be great too. But the stress level is just going to rise around here for the next little while.
