Family Pictures

So remember those family pictures that we had taken back in March, right before Nevan was blessed? We finally decided to go ahead and get them because it is so hard to get all three to sit together and look good and the studio still had the prints they had made and gave us a great price on them. Everyone who's seen them thinks that Keileigh's such a little doll and shortly after these were taken Nevan started making happy faces, but hey, no one's screaming or fussing and they actually look pretty good. The studio had been a little nervous because Nevan had been so little and they didn't think they would have an outfit that would fit him. Fortunately the outfit I had made for Knut when he was born, fit Nevan and went well with what we all ended up wearing.

Saturday Water Fun

A day where we have nothing planned and no where to go is very rare. Saturday was one of those days. We decided to get wet since it was kind of warm and we had just gotten new pools and a new swimsuit for Keileigh. We filled two of the pools, one full for Knut and Keileigh and one barely wet for Nevan. Nevan loves the water very much and loves to smile, so of course we got some great pictures.

Pretty in Pink

So after the fiasco of picture taking and Keileigh throwing fits, she decided the next day to pose for me and I jumped at the opportunity to take some of just her. She was trying on a new simple sundress for those above 100 degree days we get in the summer and was loving all the attention I was giving her.

Sibling Love

Yes I know, they all love each other, but rarely can I get pictures of the three of them together. Knut actually asked to take pictures with Nevan and Keileigh was excited until I sat her next to Nevan. She was worried he was trying to eat her.

First Foods

With Nevan being 6 and a half months, he got to start the wonderful adventure of solid foods. We started him out on carrots and he's trying to figure out this swallowing and drinking from a bottle thing. He's still prefering to nurse and everything else is just playing.

Pretty Purses

Ok, I think I'm developing a great fondness for purses/diaper bags. I've had this fabric for years, waiting for a good project. After making the last one for someone else, this one came together perfectly, using up the last bit of denim from Nolan's overalls. Gold thread embroidery is on each panel with butterflies appliqued over that. There are three pockets on the inside, a pen pocket, a cell phone pocket and one for whatever. The butterfly fabric lines the purse as well and the strap is denim with a gold leaf motif stitched down the cemter.

Aunt Brinanana

Keileigh came to me and asked me to fix a hat for her, she then put it on and told me that she was just like Aunt Bri-na-na-na. Knut overheard her and he said that daddy needed to come home and so did Uncle Brianna and Uncle Steve. Guess they really enjoyed that visit.
